Abstract

Menurut data UNESCO, minat baca masyarakat di Indonesia sangat rendah yaitu hanya 0,001%, artinya dari 1000 orang Indonesia, hanya 1 orang yang rajin membaca. Minat baca masyrakat Indonesia yang semakin lama semakin rendah. Hal ini disebabkan karena fasilitas perpustakaan kurang mewadahi sebagai pusat informasi, dan kecenderungan bangunan yang tidak menarik perhatian. Perencanaan Wisata literasi bertujuan untuk membangun pemikiran, bahwa perpustakaan bukan hanya tempat belajar . Pada zaman sekarang, wisata literasi sedang berkembang terutama tempat tempat yang memiliki latar belakang budaya. Salah satu unsur untuk menarik masyarakat berkunjung ke perpustakaan melalui bentuk fisik bangunan. Oleh karena itu, diharapkan sebuah wisata literasi yang mendukung minat baca masyarakat Bandung Barat seiring dengan adanya berbagai fasilitas yang disediakan.
