Abstract

Indonesia memiliki destinasi wisata yang beragam, perlu prasarana pendukung seperti hotel untuk memfasilitasi akomodasi wisatawan. Saat ini di kota Bandung sedang tren hotel berjenis butik, hotel butik memiliki desain eksterior dan interior yang sangat unik, kekinian dan modern. Dalam hal pelayanan dan arah desain, hotel butik memiliki pelayanan yang berkualitas dan arah desain yang tidak akan pernah diduplikasi. Di era digital saat ini, para pegiat bisnis hotel telah bekerjasama dengan situs web agensi perjalanan (Traveloka, Tiket.com dan Pegi-Pegi) untuk memasarkan hotel. Demi menarik perhatian calon konsumen di laman situs web agensi perjalanan, pihak pemasaran hotel perlu mempublikasi foto-foto hotel yang memiliki representasi persuasif, informatif dan profesional. Maka dari itu pihak pemasaran hotel perlu bekerjasama dengan seorang fotografer profesional dibidang arsitektur dan interior, untuk menghasilkan foto yang dapat merepresentasikan visual secara persuasif, informatif dan profesional. Dalam penelitian ini mengkaji representasi foto-foto interior hotel butik The House Tour & Blackbird yang telah dipublikasi pada situs web agensi perjalanan (Traveloka, Pegi-Pegi dan Tiket.com) dan membahas mengenai hasil eksperimen langsung di hotel The House Tour & Blackbird. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif, dengan menggunakan analisis interpretasi komposisional dan analisis studi narasi. Untuk memperkaya sumber referensi, wawancara dilakukan secara daring dengan fotografer profesional Mario Wibowo dan Brand Manager hotel butik The House Tour & Blackbird Riska Yunita. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini, untuk menemukan representasi foto-foto hotel butik The House Tour & Blackbird yang telah dipublikasi pada laman situs web agensi perjalanan (Traveloka, Pegi-Pegi dan Tiket.com) apakah secara kualitas foto telah merepresentasikan ruang interior secara persuasif, informatif dan profesional. Serta melakukan eksperimen langsung untuk mencari tahu bagaimana cara memotret ruangan interior berdasarkan teknik fotografi dan perspektif ilmu desain.
