Abstract
Dalam Peraturan Kepolisian Negara Indonesia No. 2 Tahun 2003 menyatakan bahwa dalam rangka pelaksanaan kebijakan sistem pengendalian intern pemerintah secara lebih efektif dan efisien sebagaimana diatur dalam Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 60 Tahun 2008 tentang Sistem Pengendalian Intern Pemerintah, Kepala Kepolisian Negara Republik Indonesia selaku pengguna anggaran atau pengguna barang wajib menyelenggarakan Sistem Pengendalian Intern pemerintahan. Dalam penyelenggaraan Sistem Pengendalian Intern pemerintahan perlu meningkatkan akuntabilitas keuangan negara melalui pengelolaan yang transparan serta lebih mengefektifkan pengawasan intern di lingkungan Kepolisian Negara Republik Indonesia.
