Abstract

Pada persimpangan highway, terdapat perbedaan jumlah kendaraan pada setiap ruas jalannya. Sehingga tidak jarang terjadi kepadatan pada salah satu ruas jalan dikarenakan pewaktu pada lampu lalu lintas yang kurang efisien. Untuk mengurangi waktu tunggu kendaraan, digunakan metode vehicle actuated controller, yaitu dengan menabahkan sensor untuk mendeteksi kendaraan yang dipasang pada setiap ruas jalan, dan memberi waktu tambahan pada lampu hijau ketika ruas jalan padat akan kendaraan. CX-Programmer merupakan software untuk membuat program dan pengujian dilakukan dengan simulasi menggunakan software LabVIEW. Setelah dilakukan pengujian, didapatkan rata-rata waktu tunggu dengan menggunakan fix timer sebesar 6.005, rara-rata waktu tunggu dengan menggunakan metode vehicle actuated controller sebesar 4.633, dan didapatkan penurunan rata-rata waktu tunggu sebesar 22.847% atau sebesar 1.372 detik per kendaraan.
