Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisa seberapa besar pengaruh penerapan audit tenure dan rotasi audit terhadap independensi auditor pada Kantor Akuntan Publik di Kota Bandung. Untuk mendukung penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan metode deskriptif dan verifikatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan populasi sebanyak 9 Kantor Akuntan Publik yang ada di Kota Bandung, serta pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan sampel sebanyak 30 responden dengan kriteria auditor junior, auditor senior dan partner. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa audit tenure dan rotasi audit berpengaruh dan berkorelasi positif terhadap independensi auditor pada Kantor Akuntan Publik di Kota Bandung.
